High speed via Torino (2)
to talk back,
after one year, the problem of high speed vehicles via Torino (especially outbound Candiolo). The following is a
email Paul Graziani which also deals with the issue of Piazza Rubiano followed my answer. I thank Paul for allowing me to respond publicly on the blog.
Hello Stephen, from our brief meeting in town, when I came to the ninth with chocolate, I wondered what it takes to move a little water around the matter of Via Torino.
not want to repeat what has been said in the past.
Since then nothing has changed except that now I can see the display of the bollard in front of my house, it reaches the maximum possible speed record in a village ... for now we are entering a little stop (127 km / h). I think we can make out better ... I estimate around 150 before the sign NONE (ps I invite you to dinner to make sure the person).
Leaving aside the sarcasm, I believe and I think that in September I will try 'to pick up a bit' signatures from families living in this area to move public opinion on an issue that I think is important with a small battle of civilizations. Magenta village is big, the largest of none, maybe someone will help me '. I do not want you to think at least something against the common and above all against you and Luisa, me to you because the league is estimated to affect.
gotta start somewhere dear Stephen, and do not think it's always an economic issue that can not to take action as it happened in Via Roma. In fact, to slow down traffic and make it safe enough for a city tour is just a little. We will see what to do, no traffic, you can turn on a small ring that apparently is seen in a fatal even if I do not understand why. The roundabout planned at via Beinasco, will shift the problem but not fix it. A Candiolo have installed fixed detectors that do not work but still scared! at least seriously discourage ..
say any more about what I do not know, I renew my invitation, come to my house ... try it ..
There is still a concern for the new parking area of \u200b\u200bthe square Rubiano. That shed
and the amphitheater were ugly and misdeeds and replaced by a parking lot is a solution, I do not want to judge. Now where will our young people? The idea comes from my wife is to create a meeting place for boys, a space and some furniture you can always find something to build with uniting parents, a secular oratorio, checking that it does not become something different from a point of reference. These young people play too much to play alone and talk only with the sms ... is an idea! Maybe something can be done without spending too much and think about it .... thanks for taking the time to read.
greetings
Paul Graziani
My answer Hello Paul,
first thank you for your comments, I do mine. Why
as a citizen, even before that Vice Mayor, the problem of speed on the roads, I feel it with my own ears and see with my own eyes, in Via Roma, where sometimes they speed vehicles and motorcycles especially at high speed.
While the problem of vehicle speed "input" to the country via Torino has been limited by the detectors with an electronic panel, the same can not be said for the media that are directed towards Candiolo.
Unlike what I said a year ago, it was not possible to intervene rapidly in the light of budgetary constraints. The Directors expect The new 2010 budget in order to start investment but just approved the Budget we had to take out all the costs to avoid "stay within" now the Stability Pact 2010.
I remember how the mere fact of having paid the progress of work of some public works in 2009 was the reason for the slippage of the Covenant which has resulted in the following sanctions for the current year:
- reduction of transfers of State
- inability to take out loans for new works
- reducing benefits administrators
- block recruitment and so on.
I unfortunately confirms that the economic problem exists and can not be overcome without further sanzioni anche per l'anno 2011.
Credimi, chi come me, o come il Sindaco o come gli altri consiglieri comunali, vive questa condizione di impotenza a volte si chiede che sense has to continue to stay in town, to hear citizens' needs, without being able to remedy. Block
spending means for example that the Library does not buy a new book last year, there are companies that expect payments for 8 months, with all that that implies, means that we find difficult to achieve even a ramp to get out home of an elderly man in a wheelchair, and I assure you see certain situations makes us sick.
The premises of the above, I seemed to promise, because as we try to convey the message of how difficult the situation, I realize that it is never enough, we should talk more, or at least try, but also to communicate, you must have resources (by investing more on the website or the municipal bulletin for example)
In any case, do not worry, feel free to obviously promote the collection of signatures, which for me is synonymous with democracy
and participation and not "against" someone, but the point is to raise awareness of the administration, I assure you that you are sensitive to the problem.
I spoke in recent days with Commander Bosso has assured me that new measures for monitoring the traffic on Via Torino. Are actions that we can play in the immediacy, not forgetting of course the structural (fixed detectors speed) as soon as the financial situation there allows.
As for the speech of the amphitheater, it must be said that on one hand we have created (or rather, individuals have made, because it is a work of urbanization) a new car park for 22 places in Central Square Rubiano the other will achieve a mall, just in front of the library (about how to manage it if we take away resources?) that our intention is to be a place of aggregrazione, wi-fi free, public parks , literary cafe, space for smaller events etc..
I think that the final balance will be positive. Indeed, for many boys was the Amphitheatre a point of reference, a place "symbolic", but apart from a few steps, in all honesty offered little. Donors Square, with its library, the youth information and literary cafes may perhaps become the new benchmark for young and old, the "home culture" that we really wanted and that we hope to open soon.
Square Donors will be completely surrounded by tree-lined pedestrian, Piazza Rubiano, has an area for parking a few days, but also at events (which can be arranged without closing roads or road conditions change), with the water point on tap to save environment and wallet.
In a last reflection on policies youth. In my opinion, not enough spaces Offir to young people, but it is necessary to combine these areas of activity, otherwise risk of thinking to young people as a "problem" on to find a place, while with the projects and operators can enhance the positive energies can be a stimulus for growth in the city.
The ideas that we submitted to the citizens only a year ago, are many, and we think to be useful to continue to grow better in None, as I assure you a lot of the frustration of being an administrator in the law effectively prevents do the job.
Municipalities live "at the forefront of" the problems of citizens and institutions are paradoxically more penalized. So much so that in time the question I ask is "what are we doing?" But in difficult times it is necessary to "team" and try to overcome adversity, we'll see if in the coming months you will get some glimmer of light.
Thanks again for your recommendations which I appreciate, but it seemed only right to give you an overview of the situation. Rest
also available for new requests, messages, and why not critical.
Greetings
