Destini che si incrociano, vite that are grazed, silences that are novel, including the elusive look of Matthew and the sweet Alice.
The film did not disappoint my expectations, even though I had read the novel, my attention was understandably focused on the images, the characters and places, (the film is set in Turin) as an attempt to give a physical something I had only imagined. And
'This is one of those movies that I like to call "a straight punch in the stomach," because at the end of the film rest with the strange feeling of bitterness in the mouth and at the same time gratified by the sincerity of a story from which with difficulty Abstract My thoughts. Also because
Costanzo reinvents the chronological structure that the book loses its linearity to merge with a series of flashbacks and flash-forward between childhood, adolescence and adulthood of the two protagonists. At different times and stacked, marked by scarring of body and soul in which the spectator is prepared by the distortions dell'incanzante metal soundtrack by Mike Patton.
If these two approaches adolescence "prime numbers" will be a moment of their childhood indelibly marked in his mind. A birthday party, on the descent neve.Tutto cambia.Mattia Alice and then close themselves off from the world and are held at the same time trying to carve out a space around them (the numbers and math for Matthias, photography for Alice) where you stop thinking and continue to get hurt, to live their lives, but never close enough.
The film is presented in Venice in cinemas from 10 September and the first weekend, boosted by the success of the novel and the promotion of Medusa was over € 900,000 in cash.
