Quintanari Ascolani Well yes dear friends ... the news that reverberated in the air from one year is finally official. Just last year at the Conference held by the Institute of Medieval Studies Cecco D'Ascoli, where he was awarded, the well-known and famous Italian director Pupi Avati said that he was literally fascinated by the city of Ascoli Piceno and its Quintana, the from its promise to make a documentary on it.
Many thought it was one of the usual promises that the celebrities visiting Ascoli sometimes do, just to make you happy, and then they go and do not know anything. Instead Pupi Avati has lived up to promise fact prove to be a true professional.
In fact, during July and August of 2010, Pupi Avati's driven by the documentary Fredo Valla a beautiful two-hour documentary on the Tournament of the Quintana of Ascoli. A documentary designed to capture aspects of human character and culture, a sort of behind the scenes of our historical re-enactment.
The documentary will air later this year in two episodes of an hour on a Sky channel. As soon as we become aware of the details we will inform you on day and time that this documentary will be aired.
